It represents wide diversity of industry – mining, cattle, mangoes, sugar cane, bananas, tourism…
Climate varies from the wet tropics – including the highest rainfall in Australia – the dry tropics, the dry outback…
Yet in these varied and often harsh conditions, the ministers, congregations and individual members of the Uniting Church engage with joy in worship, witness and service. In ways far more than geographically, we seek to be “at the top”.
